I have recently added in new Activity Types through Schedule -> Manage -> Activity Types -> Add.
For example, I added in 'Tradeshow' as a new activity type. When I update what I have previously scheduled in the calendar and change it to 'Tradeshow' it changes the Duration to 5 Minutes. Is there a way to change this default, that when I change the activity type the Duration does not change? Also is there a way to change the default of 5 minutes for a new activity type when adding in an activity?

This is separate but when you created the new activity did you leave the default results ( Completed or Not Completed) or did you make the results unique for your custom activity? Future tracking in history depends on the results being made unique.

I have mine set on completed for default. Question; I just made a post re this area of ACT!. When adding or editing your activity types, are you able to click the Browse Button and select an Icon file type image? Mine works on v16 pro. but not v17 pro - Thanks - Bill

I create my own icons also but act v17 and v18 have this problem. Surprised to hear your works? What exact version of act are you using?
