Changed computer name , cannot access database, I do not have permission

Act 2009

I changed my computers name in control panel, system

Also changed my user name.

When I went to start my database it was unable to locate it.

I went to actdiag, and unfortunally detached the database from the database list

I am trying to attach the database not and it says I do not have permission, check with administrator....

what is my next step, all backups are over 2 months old. lot of work done between then and now.

thank you

Re: Changed computer name , cannot access database, I do not have permission

Solved my own problem by doing the following:

my programs - act - right click - run in administrator

change file extension from .pad to .adf - find location of database then opened --- geez vista admin mode
