Change records with drop down list

I've created a custom layout with a tab named Monthly Sales.  On this tab I created two drop down lists.  One for Month, and the other for Year.  I added an additional field on this tab called YTD Sales.  The default value of YTD Sales is $0.00.

As a test I chose July 2012 for the Month and Year and then entered $5.00 for the YTD Sales.  Ideally I want the YTD Sales to be different for each Month/Year combo that I enter it for.  Is this possible?  It doesn't seem like ACT! would work in this way, but it never hurts to ask.  Thanks in advance.

Hello Jfreehill,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! Online Community!

I'm not sure where the YTD value is to come from, but for any type of field calculations you would need an add-on.  Here is a link to our Add-ons web site: Sage ACT! Add-ons - Utilities
