Please can someone help me, before I put my size ten foot into my desktop!!
I am running
Microsoft Office 2003
ACT 2008 Ver 10
All of a sudden every time I try and open a word template from the 'write' menu I get the following message:
"Unable to cast COM object of type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word ApplicationClass' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word_Application'. This operation failed because the Query Interface call on the COM component for the interface with IID' (00020970-0000-0000-C000-000000000046) failed due to the following error: ERROR loading type library/DLL. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80029C4A (TYPE_E_CANTLOADLIBRARY))"
I have tried the following:
Run detect & Repair in Word and Outlook
Remove Microsoft Office and reload
Remove ACT and reload
regsvr32 redemption.dll (Both from the CMD prompt and through windows by drag and drop)
None of the above fixes have changed anything.
Please can anyone shed any ligjht on what my problem maybe, this would be very much appreciated

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
