Cannot save edited templates

We have an ACT 11.0 problem where after editing a template to use in a mail merge, the doc will not save.  The error message reads ‘\\ACTSRV\JAG\database files\Templates\RM….adt’ is currently in use.’


We are using a workaround where we save the doc with quotes around the title and save it to our desktop.  After that, it can be copied and pasted back into the appropriate ACT Template folder.


Are you aware how this problem can be corrected or if there is a patch available?

One of my clients is running into this as well.  Did you find any other solution?  I'm wondering if the problem is related to Microsoft Word rather than ACT...
