I installed today Act 2011 without any problem. When I try to either open or restore a database (I make back ups every day) Act 2011 is asking for a password. I never gave my database a password. If I don't type anything in the box where it asks for the password it goes blank and I can't do anything. I have a full copy of my 2009 database on my external hard drive as well as on the local hard drive but cannot access it. How is this possible? Having said that, my business is now completely at stand-still. Please help me.
