Cannot move from my contact to access define fields (to fix a problem)

Cannot move from my contact to access define fields (to fix a problem)

Does anyone know how I can get onto 'Define Fields' when an error message won't let me move from the page or do pretty moch anything else.  It's a red exclamation mark symbol, I can't delete myself or create a new contact...

 

Any help would be most appreciated!!!

What field is it - I did not think anything that comes standard with ACT! is required. Did you create a field and require a value?  If so, just put *something* in there, which should get rid of the red exclamation.  Then, Define Fields should be available - go in, find that field, and adjust the settings appropriately...
