When I edit an existing email template then save it, it does not appear in the drop down list in ACT.? Tried saving as 'word doc' as 'template' as 'other formats'...... How should I save so I can retrieve in ACT drop down list?

How are starting off the process?
If in ACT!, from the Write menu, you select New Letter/E-mail Template, Word will open in a blank document/template.
Lay it out as desired and hit the save button in Word. It should default to the correct extention (.adt) and in the correct place (the ACT! database's templates folder - don't change anything, just give it a name and you should be good to go.

Hi M. Scott,
This also happens to me when I open an existing template from ACT. I modify, save it named something pertinant, but then It is no where to be found in ACT template files. + no option to open any other fie extension but .adt in ACT???
Any insight would be helpful.
I have Sage ACT! Pro 2013 Version 18.104.22.168
