We have ACT! installed on 7 computers in our office; one as the designated server and 6 work stations. I've gotten ACT! to work properly on 3 of the 6 stations but am not able to resolve the final 3. I get the error message:
" Cannot find database supplemental files folder <folder name> in this location <location name>. This could be problem with the share, or the folder may not exist. Please contact the administrator of your database."
I have spent a week scouring the internet and message boards and tried the myriad solutions suggested therein. To recap what I've tried. All the suggestions offered in all the articles about this message, but the most comprehensive is Answer ID 19640 including:
I get the feeling from what I've been reading that this is a Windows issue rather than an ACT! issue. Any thought on what other strategies to try?
We are running Windows 7 and have Sage ACT! Premium 2012 Version 184.108.40.206
