An employee used the Calendar na vigation on the right and opened the Calendar screen. He tried to make an appointment and now the Schedule Activity screen will not close despite all out efforts- closing the box, restarting the computer, etc. We can't click on any other part of the screen and can't close out the box. When we try to close it out it creates another appointment and the window comes back again.
Any help is appreciated.

Since this is only happening to one user, I would suspect that the Sage ACT! Preference files have become corrupted. You can use the 'Alternate Method: Manually Rebuild Preferences' section of the following article to rebuild the files: KB Article 14770

Yeah, unheard of it seems. Actually, spoke to Karen Fredricks because we have ACT! on a shared server in a different location. I'm not sure what she did, but it worked.
