Cannot access my database

I need help.  I cannot open my ACT database.  It was working fine Friday but today I get an error; “The database SCHOOL cannot be accessed.  In order to access this database, check your network connection and verify that your database server is available.  It may be necessary to disable any firewall software on your computer or derver.”

 

I am a sole user and do not network.  Can you help me please?

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Online Community. The most common reason for this error is that the SQL Server service is not started. Please see this Knowledgebase article for the solution:
