Get this error when I open ACT Pro 2011. Uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Oddly enough the ACT program icon is generic, not the usual icon.
I also get the same screen when I choose the PAD. When I choose the ADF I get this:

I am running Windows 7 with three user accounts. Please help

It looks as though you may have a problem with the SQL Server component that Act connects to. Try uninstalling and re-installing SQL to see if that resolves your issue. Have a look at these articles.
You may also have to repair the Microsoft .NET framework on your system.

The original suggestions allowed the ACT database to be opened. However, when a search was attempted the error message shown previously was displayed. This problem remains unresolved, please help.
