Cannot access CREATE REMOTE DATABASE

In the Synchronization Panel , after having created the Sync Set cannot click the CREATE REMOTE DATABASE because it is still grayed out.  

In the DATABASE USER INFORMATION the line SYNC ROLE shows up with blank content since the PUBLISHER info is missing.

ACT! 2011 PRO Version 13.0.401.0, Hot Fix 2.  Done same procedure on other system with hot Fix 4 with same result.

Any idea is welcome.  Giovanni

Definately have all systems at 13.1 HF4 - you need to apply SP1, then HF4 for SP1

It fixes much and, besides, all systems sharing data MUST be on same build

Hello,  I have the same problem

 

I cannot create remote database, because the option is greyed

 

I appreciate your help

Make sure Enable Synchronisation is checked first.

 

Also turn Windows UAC off and Run Act! as administrator.

but doesn't work.

 

I  turn Windows UAC off and Ran Act! as administrator

 

I forgot to say we have Sage Act 2011

Are you sure you're on the Publisher copy and not a Subscriber?

Did you check ALL the other items in the link Jeff posted?

If still not working, try uninstalling (temporarily) any add-ons/plugins you have to see if that helps

I found the solution, and it's going to ACTDIAG

 

tools option - delete preferences

 

no one should be connected
