My database has been shared for over a month now and all of a sudden I'm unable to activate the share option. I click on it, and I get the message that "sharing the database will allow others..." and it goes through the motion, but when finished, there's no check mark next to share and no one is able to access the database remotely.
Any ideas??

Try opening ACT! using right-click and run as administrator?

That's the only way to access the share option to no avail. I've only had this program for two months and it's been problem after problem. How can the share just stop on its own?
