Cannot Install ACT! Prem 2012 on Win7 x64: Memory Error When Launching

I was successfully running ACT Prem 2011, then tried to upgrade to 2012.  When I try to launch, I get a popup saying ACT has stopped working.  I tried reinstalling several times.

I have 8GB physical memory wiht 5.5GB available and 1GB free. My paging file is 11.6GB with a max of 17GB.

Yesterday, I saw this error in the log:

 Error Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at Act.Framework.DataExchange.Act7.DatabasePhoneEntity.ToString()
at Act.Devices.Entities.EntityFieldData.GetStringValue()
at Act.Devices.Entities.FieldData.Replace(FieldData source)
at Act.Devices.Entities.Entity.CopyFrom(Entity source, FieldMap map)

Today, I see these errors.  The timestamps indicate a time when the PC was off, so I don't understand them.

Error Message: Act.Shared.Images.ImageManager::The icon requested (connections.ico) was not found.

Re: Cannot Install ACT! Prem 2012 on Win7 x64: Memory Error When Launching

So you were able to run through the installation/uipgrade to ACT! 2012 w/o incident, correct?

And afterward, when attempting to run ACT! 2012, you get this message?
