My company has Sage ACT! 2012 Pro installed. I have several users, each with a remote database, who are unable to add subgroups to existing groups in their databases. After searching online for a solution, I found a similar thread, which suggested the following knowledge base article for a solution:
I followed the recommended steps and was able to create a new subgroup myself while connected directly to the main database. However, the users with the remote databases are still unable to create subgroups or groups, even when given Administrator rights (which I already have). This is after following the suggested workaround for remote databases mentioned in the above knowledge base article. In the case of the remote database users, when they attempt to create a new subgroup from an existing group, the Hierarchy field is blank, and they are unable to click on it to insert any information. When clicking on any existing group, the correct hierarchy information is displayed.
