I disconnected my computer last night and when I reconnected it this morning, I am no longer able to access my database. When I try to restore my backup, it tells me to check my firewall as it cannot connect to my SQL. I checked my firewall and SAGE is on the list of exceptions....still no access.

Most likely the SQL server didn't start. Right click on My Computer | Manage | Services and see if the ACT! SQL instance is started.
