Using ACT 2010 and upgraded ACT Server to Win 7 and now RDB can't sync - so I need to create new RDB and was going to backup the old RDB (because has large amount of unsynced data) and restore to new RDB however user is not set as a manager so can't backup RDB - anyway to change user to manager so he can back up his RDB without syncing to ACT server?

At this point, I do not see what it would hurt to try? This is not my area of expertise though.
Are you getting a error message?
Can you log in to the RDB with your Admin id to perform the backup and sync?
Normally I would recommend folks take backups before performing changes.
What if you create a new RDB, then import old RDB into new? or sync old and new RDB?
