Can the ID/Status Dropdown contain a dash?

Or maybe the question should be asked how does a dash affect the lookup in a dropdown list?

Should be just another character. What types of problems do you anticipate it causing?

Re: Can the ID/Status Dropdown contain a dash?

Turns out the problem was mine in the lookup.

I had an ID of "Prospect" and of "Prospect-OptOut".

The lookup had both:

ID starts with Prospect

ID starts with Prospect-OptOut

Obviously both would be found.

I changed the first one to ID equals "Prospect" and left the 2nd one alone.  The lookup works as it should now.

Sometimes just asking the question makes it easier to find the error.

Thanks for your response mrogers.
