I have a registered version of ACT for about 2 years now. I try to use it today and get notice:
Your trial version has expired. You must register the product
I have never had this problem before and I use it daily on the same computer. I do not have the serial # with me as I am traveling. How can i use the product?

More than likely your registration files became corrupt and just need to be refreshed. In the process, though, you will have to reregister Act!
I would contact our customer service department and try to get your serial number from them. Once you have that, I would suggest contacting either Support, or following this KB: http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/14245/kw/prompts%20to%20register

Actually, it worked just fine when I came back to the US. I did not have to re-register or refresh.
Is there some issue where I can't use it in anotehr country? This has not happened before and I did not expect to not have access to software I own..

Let me look into that. As far as I know it shouldn't have had an issue, but I will endeavor to get to the bottom of this.
