Can't use Outlook Email

I have Act 2008. In the email contact ffield, if i click on the email address to send an EM to that contact, the screen freezes for 30-40 seconds. Then I get a window that says Be sure both ACT and Outlook are set to Run  as Administrator.

Both of them ARE set that way. Any ideas?

Sounds like you're on Vista.  Try turning off UAC.

Is there a way to use all the product features with the UAC on?

Is there a plan to revise the product to be compatible with the UAC?

Right click ACT! icon and select run as administrator.
