I get this message when trying to open Act local DB:
"The computer could not be reached! because the IP address could not be resolved. Verifying the computer is available on the network, that it has the correct IP address, and that Microsoft SQL Server is property installed may resolve this issue."
Up until a few weeks ago I was using a 3rd party hosting service but had no problems transferring the DB back to my local PC and it had been working fine.
I am using Act Premium 18 and Windows7, no static IP. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Reading another post, I checked and MSSQL$ACT7 service was not running so i started it and now Act runs fine. Any ideas why it is not running automatically and does anyone know how to correct that?
