Can't send emails

Running Act! 2010 with no problems. Emails done with Act! email. Changed to a faster router and now I can't send emails. Receive is fine. Any suggestions?

Re: Can't send emails

I would sure start looking at what changed as being the problem.  Also, try setting up your email with out ACT to see if it's works there.  For example, set up email in outlook.  If it's not sending, but receiving, that could point to a port being blocked, or wrong credentials to your isp.

Re: Can't send emails

Thanks for the input. Turns out my ISP originally assigned out going to Port 25. They have since changed it to 587. Since ACT! email has no provision for changing this port, I installed an older version of Outlook and was able to change the port. All is now happy in my kingdom.

Glad that worked.  for others reading this, to use the ACT email provider, your ISP must use port 25.  Of it does not, you should use Outlook
