Can't see dates on the Calendar

Hi - when I attempt to schedule a task/meeting/call and use the drop-down calendar to select the date, the calendar only shows the first digit of the date, i.e Feb 1 looks fine but Feb 21 only shows the 2.  Amyone know if there's anything I can do to fix this?

 

Using Pro v17 single user.  Local database.  (just purchased yesterday), Windows 8.1

I haven't heard of this issue in particular, but usually when graphics on the screen are not rendering properly, it's due to the DPI settings being set to a large setting. Act! does not render properly at higher DPI settings, so it is recommended to turn them down to the smallest setting, then log off of your computer and log back in then try again. If that does fix it, but the items on your screen are too small for your eyes to handle, you may potentially be able to work around the issue by using a nifty little addon created by one of our Act Certified Consultants, Jim Durkin. The name of the addon is DPI Fixer for ACT!. Best part is, it's completely free, so it doesn't hurt to try it out, if it doesn't resolve the issue.
