Can't register ACT! 2006 on new laptop

Until last month, we were running Sage ACT! 2006 (v. 8) on an old XP laptop. We upgraded to a Windows 7 laptop and installed the same version of ACT! in Windows 7 XP Mode. We've been unable to register it, so we've been running it in trial mode. Yesterday, the trial ran out and we can't get into ACT! We are planning an upgrade to a newer version, but we need to continue to use the old version until that occurs.

How do we get this registered? We have a CD with a serial number.

Hi Ivana,

If you are having troubles with registration, and you have the serial number, I would recommend calling Swiftpage directly.

OK, thanks. Thought there was Swiftpage rep who hangs round here who could help with this. It's difficult to find time for me for a long phone call. Boss calls me every few minutes to do something  Smiley Frustrated
