I am using ACT 2006 Version 8, and the other day out of nowhere I went to open Act, and I get an error message that says "The format of the file 'Genghis' is invalid." My only option is to hit ok, and then another error message pops up that says "The application has encountered an error and has been shut down. Would you like to report the error?"
That's as far as I can get when I try to open it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it open? Would re-installing it be my best bet? Thanks,

Find Genghis.dll on your ACT! CD and copy it to where you've installed ACT! (default: C:\Program Files\ACT\ACT for Windows). Then go to Start and select Run, type in assembly and click Ok. Now drag and drop Genghis.dll into the assembly folder.
