The “import” function appears to be disabled on our ACT system. When I attempt to import an excel database by going to “File” and then “import”, the “import” tab is grey & I can can't proceed / it can't be clicked on.
Can this be resolved or is there another way to import leads off of an excel spreadsheet?
Please let me know.

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. These things could cause the import function to be greyed out:
- You are not logged into the database as an Admin or Manager user. Standard and lower user cannot import.
- User Account Control (Windows Vista, Windows 7) is blocking permissions. For instructions to disable UAC, see the article below that applies to your operating system:
Windows 7: http://kb.Sagesoftwareonline.com/cgi-bin/Sagesoftwareonline.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2566...
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
