Act! 2010
Having problem with the way it is showing the calendar on one of the computer (we are running 3).
Problem : can't get the actual calendar to display in daily, weekly or monthly views. It just shows a bunch of mini-calendars. On the other computers, it shows an actual calendar wtih the appointments filled in.
Here is the wrong view
Good versions:

I was really hoping for some help with this problem.
Besides looking for an answer here or Googling for it, where else can I find help? Sage wants $99 to talk about this problem.
Your help would be appreciated.

My initial take is that you have corrupted preferences. This is similar to a problem often caused by having the screen fonts set to other than normal fonts.

Are the preferences unique to each of the computers or are they shared?
If I delete the preferences file (actdiag) on one computer will it have any impact to the other 2 computers?
Thanks!

Problem solved!!!
Thank you Roy for pointing me in the right direction.
The culprit was corrupted Preferences.
I used the following article to fix my problem :
http://community.act.com/t5/Sage-ACT/Can-t-get-calendar-to-display-properly/m-p/241729#M66824
I had to do the longer version (appdata/act - rename act folder to OLD....
I found out that the Preferences folder is unique to each machine (I was unsure if deleting the preference file would have any impact on the other PCs running Act! in the our office)
I also found mention of my problem in another forum posting and a Sage KB article:
http://community.act.com/t5/Sage-ACT/Calender-display-incorrect/m-p/66815
I was very surprised that Sage wouldn't offer tech support for Act! 2010 (paid or otherwise) since it was too old?!?!?!?

Actually both. Some of the preference settings apply to the database for all users and some are specific to the workstation. However deleting the local preference file only effects the local workstation.
