Can't create new database after upgrading

I just installed ACT 2010 after being part of the Beta Team. I can't create a new database either. I also get the same message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Can anyone help?

 

Also, how do you delete a database or change its name?

To delete a database, you can do that after logging into it.  Go to the Tools menu, database maintenance and then 'Delete database'.

 

To rename a database you would need to create an Act! back up of the database and then do a 'Restore As'... specifying a new name.

 

Keep in mind this process will break syncrhonization and also impact anyone who is sharing the database.
