Can't backup Act! onto new drive

I am trying to backup Act! 8 onto new jump drive so I can upgrade to new version on new PC. I got an error as follows:

 

Unable to back up - file in use

 

C:\users\Frank\appdata\local\temp\tmp2177.tmp

 

Can anyone help?

Thanks John. That is what I figured but I had nothing open. But I did notice that I was out of room on the HD. Once I cleaned up the hard drive and opened up more room the backup went smoothly. Thanks for you help.

Hi fgrep.

 

That just means you have an open file that also has a link to either a document or a file in ACT.  Make sure everything is closed before you do the backup.  You may have to use the task manager to close open files.
