My ACT! 16 does not work. I've been on the phone 3 days now with Tech Support.
Again Tech Support took over my Samsung computer which is new. I bought it over the summer. It's running Windows 8 with the up grade. I use Internet Explorer 11 as my browser.

I'm guessing that you are looking for suggestions?
I used both of these functions regularly on ACT v16 so it makes me think there is a setting on your new Samsung. A common issue that causes odd issues like this is having Large Fonts turned on (DPI must be 100%). Check to see if it is anything other than 100%, and if it is, change it to 100%

I too am running IE 11 and ACT V16. Nothing happens when I go to the ACT! Help Topics item - just opens to a blank WebHelp page. Any thoughts? It did work with earlier IE.

This issue is due to compatibility issues with Internet Explorer 11. There's no permanent fix for it currently, however you can use the following knowledgebase article as a workaround:
Additionally, if you happen to also use Firefox, you can copy the link out of Internet Explorer's address bar and paste it into Firefox. Then you can create a bookmark for that and use Firefox to pull the page up and search within the help topics.
