I have an old version (2006 ver 8) that has never been registered. I have a valid S/N (verified by Sage chat tech). I have been using the trial version without any problems for almost 30 days. I am attempting to register, but it repeatedly tells me:
"You must have admin level access to register". I am the admin and only user.
All I got from support was that I have a valid S/N but the software is unsupported. I don't know why this makes any difference. I cant even get to a screen that allows me to enter the S/N at all.

This message either means you do not have an Administrator level Windows username. Or, if you are running this on a Vista or Windows 7 computer, you can try running the ACT! program 'As Administrator' > to do this: close ACT! > right click on ACT! icon > select 'Run As Administrator' > attempt to register.
