Can i have this in a report?

I am trying to design a report for our 2011 tax year. One thing i definately want in it is whether the contact had an appointment or dropped his information off. I have this information in a drop down box with the label of engagement. My question is this, can you have a report that will populate the information from a drop down box? If so, how do i do this? If not, then how do i fix the field so that it can be included?

The dropdown is simply a pick list. Once you select an item from the dropdown that information is in the field and then yes it can be included in a report.

Hi roy...ty very much for your reply.  When i am designing my report, how do i get the information from the dropdown box to appear in the report? The name of the field is engagement, but the engagement field doesn't show the information shown in the dropdown box, just the name of the field of the drop down box
