Dear ACT! Community:
Thank you in advance for any help/guidance you can provide for my situation. I am a returning ACT! user from many years ago (I am trying out ACT! (as I am looking to leave Saleforce.com as it is a little more than I need these days). I am setting up my ACT! database to begin prospecting via telephone, email, letter, etc. I have setup different ID/Status Fields for different industries I am targeting. For example, one industry I am targeting is Solar Integrators so I have setup an ID/Status called "PROSPECT: SOLAR INTEGRATOR" (I then import all of these leads and assign this ID/Status). Another example would be for my referral sources that I wish to stay in contact with, etc.. I have named this ID/Status "REFERRAL SOURCE: INTERIM CFO". Is it possible to create a custom Contact Layout for each type of ID/Status? Solar Integrators would have different fields compared to fields I would need for my Interim CFO referral sources. Right now I see "Basic Contact Layout - 1024 x 768". My goal is to be able to customize my database in this manner. I hope this makes sense.
