ACT! By Sage 2009 (11.0) Version 11.0.0.367 I can not make the calendar which shows eight months to start at 2008. Instead it always shows 2023 and I have to manually click the left directional button to bring it to 2008 November. Once I close database and reopen, 2023 once again appears. Clicking on month or week does not change the year.
Ideas?
If I have to reinstall ACT from my CD, can I download Version 11's update from ACT website and not run into problems with existing databases which were already updated from Version 11 before its update was released? My copy of ACT has been unstable and once a week will shut down with windows displaying message that it had to close ACT. Thanks.

You can leave them. You should receive a call by the end of today for email retrieval.

Try deleting your preferences.
- Close ACT!
- Go to Start -> Run, type actdiag and click Ok.
- Within ACT! Diagnostics, go to Tools -> Delete Preferences.
- Open ACT! and test.

After running actdiag and deleting preferences, same problem arose where date read 2023 when I opened up a database. I manually brought the date back to 2008. I then closed the database and opened again but the calendar still read 2023.
Other ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks that seemed to do it. Under ACT 11, I had a file preferencesBak.old.xml and under preferences I had a file named USpreferences206.xml.old. Should I delete both? Also I lost my emails. Would you help me retrieve them?
Thanks.
