Calendar loading slowly in ACT! 2010 (question via Twitter)

I'd find much more value in an ACT! 2010 product that doesn't take 2 minutes to load my calendar. Tips for better performance?

Hello,

If your calendar is running slowly, it may be due to a large number of uncleared activities or possible damaged activities. There are a couple of things you can try:

 

- Clear or erase old uncleared activities, then remove older cleared activities from the database. For instructions to remove old activities, please see the following Knowledgebase article:

- Run maintenance on your database. Go to Tools/Databasebase Maintenance/Check and Repair. You can also do an activity repair using the "Fix Known Activity Data Issues" tool in the ACT! Diagnostics utility. Instructions for this are found in the following Knowledgebase article:
