Calculating time spans

I'm using ACT 2008 v10 (soon to upgrade to 2009) for HR/Recruiting and currently keep time-to-fill stats in Excel.  In ACT, however, I am starting to set up a Group for each new opening and have fields for "Date Initiated" and "Date Filled".  Can ACT calculate these date spans or should I export the data to Excel and continue to use the spreadsheet date calculation features?  The first would truly be quick; at least the second prevents double-typing of the starting & ending dates.

Re: Calculating time spans

Unfortunately, the answer is no.  You will need to continue to use Excel for this feature.

Please submit a feature request to be considered in a future version - http://www.act.com/community/feature/

Yeah, that's what I "figured", or in this case, can't figure.  Not what I was hoping to learn, but now I can move on.  Good idea to submit the request; thanks for the link.  And thanks for responding.

Re: Calculating time spans

The date span calculation could also be done in an ACT! report.
