Blackberry-Palm question

Looking at some new devices and I am currently an ACT 2007 user.  Is there a way to sync with Blackberry/Palm without the use of Handheld Contact or Companion Link, both are fairly expensive ($250 for one $99.00 for the other with a 9.99 charge each month for the wireless).   I guess I could use the ACT link program but that would limit me to Palm.  Is there any other way to link without using one of these softwares?  I know that ACT can sync with outlook and outlook communicates with Blackberry, does Blackberry require an exchange server to sync to outlook?  HELP????

Re: Blackberry-Palm question

Unfortunately, ACT! doesn't provide an linking software for BlackBerry devices.  You'll need to use third party software for BlackBerry devices.

The only free linking software for Palm is ACT! Link for Palm OS and ACT! Link for Pocket PC.

Re: Blackberry-Palm question

Re syncing via Outlook, ACT! only sync's activities to Outlook, not contacts.

Try the trial of Handheld Contact... it's <$1 per day and will save you more than that in time. It's the most reliable sync method to a PDA from ACT!
