My company uses Act to manage the contact databases (standalone, not cloud based) for our call center. Currently all call sheets are printed and given to callers each day. I woulc like to automate the process by giving each caller a dummy terminal with software that would allow them to update the databses and schedule followup calls without giving them full access to the database itself. Most of the solutions I've found are now cloud based, and we would rather maintain everything as stadalone and hosted on our internal server. Just wondering if anyone has had any positive experience with call center software that would integrate well this way,.

Limited access with ACT! premium would work for that, either local or web based.

If they are to modify the database, yes. However that would give you real time updates to the databse and tracking information on their performance.
