Trying to do a manual backup of my database. I get the following message:
The following error occurred during backup. The backup was cancelled.
Access to the path 'C:\Documents and Settings\MDO\My Documents\ACT\ACT Data\Databses\Mark-databasefiles\Backup\OCLT.....BAK' is denied.
I searched the archives and found an article telling me to add "Everyone" to the Usernames on the Security Tab. Still doesn't work.
Anyone else run into the same problem and discovered a good fix?

What version of ACT are you using?
Do you have an antivirus/firewall program installed? You may like to try disabling the antivirus, then try running a backup again. If your backup is successful then you will need to add ACT into the list of Exclusions for your AV.

What happens sometimes is you are doing "back-up of a back-up"!
Are you sure you are not saving your backup in folder that is included in your back-up settings?
