BACKING UP ACT 2008 ON WINDOWS VISTA--REQUEST FOR HELP

I am trying to back up an ACT 2008 database on windows vista and keep getting the following error message:

"The following error occurred during backup. The backup was cancelled.

Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\ACT\safe2008-database files\Backup\ASHERMPLOTKI-PC_safe2008D20080612TI124706.BAK' is denied."

Any ideas on what this means and how to fix it??

Thanks

I am assuming the standard backup folder that ACT creates?  Should I try backing up to a different folder that I create?

Thanks

disable the User Account control (UAC)  [goto control panel-->user accounts--->turn user account control on or off---> uncheck the check box]

reboot the machine, try to take a backup

Also, do NOT backup into the backup folder under the database folder. This is for ACT! to use to create the temp files it need when doing a backup. You should delete any files in that folder
