I wonder if it is possible to take some of the labour out of my weekly pipeline update task, which is as follows? Whether by some kind of automation, or macros, or whatever, doesn't matter to me.
What I do is...
1) I product a pipeline chart for each of the product lines by using Opportunity Pipeline. (I use a code in each Opportunity Name to identify that particular Opportunity as belonging to that product-line, and so simply Lookup that code in the Opportunity Names)
2) I copy the numbers from each stage into an excel spreadsheet, for that date and product-line.
Is there some method of getting ACT! to run such Lookups and pump the numbers into a spreadsheet or other table by hitting a button or running something in ACT! ? This would save a lot of tedious grunt work.
