I'm trying to look at scripting/automating the export of data from Act into a text file as per instructions at:
Is there a way of scripting or calling the program by command-line to simply run the export routine with pre-set parameters?
If anyone could advise the best way of doing this it would be appreciated.
Sorry forgot to mention, this is Act 2009 (11.0) running on Windows XP pro SP3

No, but if you have Excel, you could create a script to pull the data via OLEDB and save as a CSV

JL Technical offers an addon product called "Exporter"
An excerpt from their website:
Runs manually or automatically. Exporter can be run without operator intervention and can be run as a scheduled after hours task. (OLE DB server or ACT! Reader server only)

This woudl be possible using some of the scripting tool available in Windos or a (macro) type tool. I have created a couple of similar scripts for some other similar tasks.
Is the export the same each time - Same lookup, same fields
You say you are using version 11 so you woudl need to let me know which fields and and what you do to achieve the lookup.
