Are SQL Tables Populated In Order of Field Creation?

We interface ACT 11.1.183.0 with LaserApp. The problem is that LaserApp can only see info on the Contact table (TBL_CONTACT) and not on the Contacts Table 1 (CUST_ContactsTable1_090122).

There are a number of fields on Contacts Table 1 I need in LaserApp.

Question:  Does SQL Server fill TBL_CONTACT with new fields in the order that I add them (as opposed to alphabetical order, type order, etc.)? If it does, then I could build a new database and add the fields I need in LaserApp before adding the other custom fields. Am I on the right track here?

Thanks,

Greg

So far as I know, tables are filled with fields in the order fields are entered.

Just a tip, the contact table is size limited so limiting the fields to the needed size rather than the default size for character fields should help and be sure to rename and use the user fields to preserve available space on that table.
