Applying Service Pack 1 Results in "Sage ACT! Has Stopped Working"

I downloaded Sage ACT! 2012 Pro SP1 and ran the program (anti-virus OFF) on my original DVD version 14.0.572.0 (hotfix 2) installed program and it says it has successfully completed the update or installation of Service Pack 1. 

 

When I try to start the shortcut on my desktop (Administrator) of Sage ACT! Pro 2012 (updated) I get the following message that flashes and then disappears from my screen:  "Sage ACT! has stopped working....Windows searching for a solution" . 

 

I have uninstalled the reinstalled the DVD version and then tried to apply the SP1 twice with NO SUCCESS.

 

Any ideas?

 

I guess I will just stay with the original version that works!

Scott,

Please see your Private Notes for a download link for the Sage ACT! 2012 Pro installation file, which contains the SP1 update already.  Uninstall Sage ACT!, then install using this downloaded file.  No update will need to be applied after the installation.
