Amazing syncronization feature Act pro V16 for Outlook 2013 - who is really to answer?

Hello,

I am using Act! Pro version 16.2.14.0, Hot Fix 1, English (Europe) and Outlook 2013.

Since a couple of weeks I am trying to get an simple answer on a syncronization issue but every specialist is talking aroun the really topic.

Situation:

I am for 10 yearse users of Act. Using Act and Outlook as mentioned above. Syncronizing properly and without a problem. So for that period no questions.

BUT,...recently I received some updates on the version as above. Since then syncronization is not working anymore and causing tons of duplicates in Outlook. So I requested in the community to help me out, a lot of response ... a lot of BS... and suggestions which I can think about myself. I tried many options and settings te restore a proper working syncronization. But none of them succeeded.

Then some smart guys suggested to delete all my events, create a new outlook account etc. Please guys this is my lifeline of mu business so I am not going to delete en reinstall anything.

What I am surprised about is that Swiftpage probably just decided for an update on V16, accordingly users have to solve which appearing due to these updates....in others words... We load you with a problem but we are not available to solve the issues which are consequenves of these updates.

I even got a remark of an Swiftpage Act expert telling me that V16 is not suiteable for synchronization with Outlook 2013. Only v18 is ready for this feature. Hello! I bought V16 inlcuding syncronization outlook feature. It worked fine but since the update it does not work anymore.

Ok, I am willing then to take the pain as Swiftpage is not giving me any support for a problem they causing.  So I decided to reset Outlook in syncronizing calendar and contacts one way direction Act->Outlook. I even can not find any working instruction to solve that. Nobody at the community has an answer is telling fairy tales which does not help me.

Really, I am buying software to run my business, When Swiftoage is changing functionality during operation they have solve the problem and not that I am searching days anywhere to find a solution.

So once again to Swiftpage, what need to be done to restore syncronization  funtionality of calendar and contactds without duplicates. Solution also without reinstall software, databases and sets. That will cause my sales operations more trouble that that problems will be solved.

I am looking forward to a really expert response, really solving the issues. Thanks!

Hi Marc,

I think perhaps some of the suggestions posted in your previous thread on this issue were misinterpreted.

In order to avoid any further misunderstandings, it may be best for you to get some Act technical support in your local language from an Act Certified Consultant.

You can find details of our Dutch partners here.

Very strange response.... it just an normal issue, which should be discussed in public at the community as we talking her about the lack of proactive problem solving by Swiftpage.

As soon as it is becoming clear that Act application issues are just a lack of willing to solve problems then we get these kind of responses.

On the frontside you are drawing a nice picture about the functionalities and features of current Act versiosn and on the back side your are not solving any basic issue at all. When you tell your customers that you deliver an Act version with Outlook integrations and syncronizations, just do what you promise and not coming back with all kind precondtions to explain why you can not deliver what you promise!
