Alternative to Macros in 2013 Pro

We cannot seem to find a way to record a series of mouse movements and clicks in the new version of ACT.  It is fairly imperative to our process to avoid closing a bunch of boxes and clicking "close" several times before a phone call can be made with the dialer.  Is there any way in the 2013 Pro version to record mouse movements and functions?  The SmartTasks don't seem to be an option, nor the shortcuts.  Any advice out there?  Or is that option just completely gone now?

I use AutoHotKey. With this I've been able to 'script' actions an associate them to a hot key.

For example, one client's previous CRM product had a hot key combo to lookup contacts last names. I wrote a script to activate on the same hotkey (if ACT! was the active window) and bring forward a contact lookup on last name and place the cursor in the text entry box. Client loves it.
