Adding "Types" to "Record History" Choices

In ACT 10, is there any way to add additional Types to the kinds of History to be recorded manually -- such as "Write", "Memo", etc., or are we limited to Call, Meeting To-do, E-mail, Vacation and so on? It's always seemed strange to me that "Write" is not one of the built-in choices.

In the main ACT screen go to  Schedule|Manage|Activity Types  and select ADD.
 
Here you can define new activity types to the schedule menu. Ive just now added "Memo" as an activity type as a test.
 
Now, when i look at my history tab, when i select to manually record a history item, "Memo" is on the list.
 
So create your new activity types under the scheduler function and they will automatically be added to history types.
