Add documents to an Opportunity?

Hi everyone,

 

Is there a way to add documents to an Opportunity, like you can do with a Contact?

Premium edition? - no, it's the same, an add-on? I don't know of one.

 

Normally, the best you can do is to attach the document to the Documents Tab of the Contact for whom you are creating the Opportunity. You do get to see the Date Modified along with the File Name of documents in the list which helps to find things again later. Personally I do it this way so that I have all my attached documents in one place. It's nice to be able to attach documents to Notes or History (if not Opportunities) as well as the Documents Tab but if I do that I'm left trying to remember where I saved what, so I go for the Documents Tab wherever possible.

The short answer is No.

 

(The best you could do is paste some info into the Details area).
