Activity Report data issue

In ACT 2007 Prem for Web, has anybody come across an issue when running an Activity Report where it pulls all the data for the contact rather then only the activites for the given time period selected.?

Re: Activity Report data issue

I think the user selection is your problem. A user selection on the General tab selects the contact records where the user is the record manager. A user selection on the Activities tab selects the activities where the user is the record manager. Depending on your selection of users on the two tabs, you can get four different results on the task list report.

Re: Activity Report data issue

Thanks for the reply Roy.  It's really a hit or miss issue.  We are consistant when filling out the general tab and then the activity tab and use the same user name. Unless I miss understood you.  We actually get the data results we want based on the date range we put in the activity tab then an hour or two later we use the same information and get every activity entered for that user.  Once we recycle the default application pool in IIS we get the correct data results using the same configuration in the general tab and activity tab.  Have you ever see this before.  It seems to only be with the activity report as I've tested on the notes/history report and get the correct data for selected date range every single time.

Re: Activity Report data issue

What you are using is the most restricted filter. That will find only the activities where the user is the record manager only on the contact records where the user is the record manager. To find all the activities where the user is the record manager, try All Users on the General tab and Selected Users on the Activities tab.
